19ft Sea Hunt Boat

I have the opportunity to buy my dads 19 ft sea hunt from him. its just a couple of years old and he doesnt use it enough. my current dilemma is that i had always seen myself in either a 20 ft xpress hyperlift or a 19.5 ranger aluminum boat that can do it all as for as crabbing and saltwater fishing. If i go this route i wont be able to crab with it and will have to keep my flat for that and just have two boats. i dont know much about the sea hunts but i know that they are pretty heavy, anyone have any experiences with them?

Only one i have owned was a 1999 20ft center console Triton 200 was the model. Kept it for 10 years with no problems. They were entry level back then and bare bones but have really stepped up their game as a builder in the last few years.

my favorite spot is the wildlife management area in manchac. its too big of a boat to get in there to crab. the problem with two is that i am building a house in a fancy subdivision that requires all boats to be in a garage....and no metal shops either. the garage is big enough to fit the sea hunt but not two boats.... but im thinking i will be able to hide my flat behind my fence and no one will see it....thats why i was leaning towards an aluminum hull and never really seen myself in a fiberglass. but i dont know if i can pass this opportunity up.

Sea hunts are good boats. A good buddy guides out of a 24bx. Not sure about the 19 but that 24 rides pretty good

I own a 20 ft 2014 SeaHunt bayboat, and it is a great boat. Think the draft is listed at 14 inches, but I stay clear of less than 2 ft. Guess it depends on how much weight you have on the back.
