I was going to riot if DDG didn't make it. Only reason United are even sniffing a top four finish at this point.

Bellerin has been pretty good to really good this year, but I'm surprised to see him in that 11. Couldn't tell you much about the rest of the RBs in the league though.

Ozil could end up setting the assists record and still can't get into that front six. Tough.

Ozil has accounted for 24 goals(6 goals scored 18 assisted) but there is no room on the first team.

Yeah I think I'd put him in ahead of Payet (9 goals, 9 assists, injury) but I also admit to bias.

Shocked Theo Walcott's not in there, though.

Don't see how Ozil isn't on it, Payet deserves it but how do you have mahrez over Ozil? or even Erickson. they do so much for their teams.

oh yeah a bunch of hype with no logical thought process

Because Mahrez has been the best player in the league this season

Ozil makes a strong case to be in the first team though. A tough decision on who to leave out.

Your anti-Mahrez crusade is getting sad at this point.

The 2nd half production for Ozil has dropped because of the team's lack of finishing. He is still creating chances at a ridiculous rate.

Not a single outfield player from Chelsea, Man U, Man City, or Liverpool and only one from Arsenal.

Amazing.

Stellar first half, massive drop in production during the second half of the season

Much more the fault of those around Ozil than Ozil himself. He's had to create 5 times the chances per assist as he did in the first half of the season.

I'm okay with Payet over Ozil. It's not a travesty. But I think Mesut deserves to be in there and this is more of a product of recency bias and trying to spread the wealth than anything.

If people don't think DDG is #1 keeper in league, and moving in on #1 in the World, they aren't watching soccer objectively, and are Manu haters.

He has easily stole them points, and a huge reason they are fighting for a CL spot.

Some of the best Keeping we've watched this season has been results from DDG in net.

. Even when his team and coach didn't show up, he made games that could of been 3-4 goal losses into 1-1 ties or close losses.

We have been blessed to see great Keepers(nuer, buffon, cech, casillas, etc) in the past 10 years+, and DDG will go down as another one of those.

Bonus Comment: Was Victor Valdez a great keeper? And has he been over shadowed, by having casillas in front of him at Spain??

Valdés was pretty fricking good, and it took me a long time and a Pinto game to come to terms with that.

I would maybe only complain about Erickson and Smalling not being in but I don't know who you could take out for them (those XI are all fully deserving).

Erickson is always involved in almost every Tottenham goal but gets overlooked by the greatness of Kane and Alli.

Smalling has been one of the best CBs in England this year but Alderweild has been incredible and Morgan has too. I understand you can't leave them out as they are rocks in the back for the top two teams in the league.
