re: AT&T Uverse and DirecTV?

I had Uverse for several years with no issues other than prices always going up. After AT&T refused to lower the prices I switched to Directv (before they were acquired). About a year after the acquisition I convinced AT&T to let me out of my Directv contract if I switched back to Uverse. Where my TV is located in the living room there isn't a feasible way to get a cable to it so wireless receivers were my only option. The wireless genie mini's that Directv offer are complete garbage. They just did not respond at all to the remotes (Directv or my Harmony). We also had issues where some major network channels would go out even if there were no clouds or rain.
