This is me. I'll always work in some capacity as long as my body and mind allows. But if you are not saving for retirement or setting up passive income stream investments for the future, you're a fool.

If you're one of the 1% of people that truly love their jobs, then by all means, work till you die

I'm content with my job, but it is in no way my life. I could quit today (I'm 32) and find plenty of things to do and live quite a purposeful life.

My Dad just retired this fall at 59. In the past 6 months, he has tripled his garden size, built a pool (currently working on the pool house), visited 40+ states, and started wood working again in his shop. They just sold $4k worth of his stuff this weekend at a craft show in Tulsa.

I don't think he is about to roll over a die just because he is no longer going into the office everyday.
