Amazing that CPM is still mocked by the know it all's on this board when he's had to completely restock his team with 7 new players, something no other coach in Div. 1 has had to do, and is now only 1 game out of first place in the West, 2 back in the entire league.

So think about this statement for a minute here. To be quite honest, I agree with you. Now that I've agreed with you, let's jump in our wayback machine for a moment or two.

Just over two seasons ago, we were busy giving Javier an unmitigated verbal beej on his way out of the door from coaching baseball-on any level of the game-after he was the "catalyst," behind putting together the #1 Recruiting Class in America.

So...what happened to that great class the catalyst put together? Wait, before we answer that, let's jump back in the wayback machine and this time fast-forward all the way back to the present and your post:

So we signed the #1 Recruiting Class in America in Javy's final swan song, and yet Paulie has 7 new players on the roster this year?

Sounds like that big final recruiting class by Javier Low-Tee was long on hype. Oh and have you ever wondered why Mac Marshall left? I know you don't wanna hear the real answer, but let's just say its the same reason an LSU Legacy-who would absolutely be starting in our infield right now-in Grayson Byrd transferred out after being able to start and see more action than either of the Jordan's or Deichman's in this lineup LAST YEAR?

When Paulie wasn't busy wiping Javy's arse with overhyped recruiting classes or popping the sugartit bottle out of Sanchez's mouth out long enough to blame the kids for his sorry arse "god-son's," coaching limitations, he was running off what little returning talent this roster had in the field.

So talk about what a hard job he's had, and I'll talk to you about what its like admiring a guy for trying to work with one hand tied behind his back while breastfeeding a grown man with the other?

Paulie does it to himself and has always done it to himself. He's recruited well because this program has recruited well, and while he seems to have put together a fine staff currently, he's always come off to me like a guy who has a feel for the game that's akin to a double amputee with no arms below the elbow.

But hey...did you know he's in two HOF's and won a National Title? Tell me more!
