Pause, and let that sink in. Les went from being "fired" to signing a top 3 class and hiring the two most preferred asst's we could ask for.

I'll be honest. I was resigned to the need for a change and was ready to see Miles go when everything went down. What has happened since doesn't excuse what has gone on the last few seasons, but there is no denying the man's strong bounce back since. If anyone had bet me we would have the number 3 class and these two hires right after the A&M game, I would be living in a cardboard box right now.

So, for whatever went on before, Miles has managed to set the stage for the comeback of all comebacks. If he wins the SEC this year and beats Bama, he still won't be Saban, but he will have cemented his legacy as the 2nd best in the conference. That isn't bad when you're standing next to one of the, if not the greatest of all time.

Nothing went down other than wishful thinking on the part of some. LSU has way too much invested in Miles at this time for anyone to seriously buy into him being fired with a #16 ranked team, great recruiting class, and no real change in football attendance. imo

I have been around long enough to know that anything can happen, but the idea Jimbo would even want to jump from Fla. St where he has won 90% of his games and played in two championship games in the last 4 yrs. to the football horror of the SECW is totally unbelievable to me.
