I don't remember much back in my military days. 
I did love Virginia Beach and that name sounds familiar though.

Ghent is the best area in Norfolk...close to all
Lived in Jamestown/Williamsburg/Newport News and wife went to medical school in Norfolk and we just missed out on a place in Ghent
The Norva is one of the best concert venues I've ever been
