We're in Doswell, Va. for a tournament and have most of the day free tomorrow. We're right next door to King's Dominion amusement park, but I'm noticing we're only an hour or so away from some historic areas and think that would be more fun.
What's the best tourist attraction for a half day? Just at a glance, I see there's the real Jamestown settlement that doesn't seem to offer much, a fake Jamestown settlement that isn't too appealing since it's fake, and Colonial Williamsburg. Anyone familiar with this? Is it one large area I pay to get into that gives me access to several historical sites?
What's the best bet while I'm in this area? Thanks.

I recently moved away from the Williamsburg area.
The area really doesn't have all that much to offer.
However, Busch Gardens is outstanding.
If the weather cooperates I would suggest hitting the park up.
