This one drives me crazy. Being in the food business, i know that 90% of all cooked food is cooked with onions as a primary ingredient, yet i get people all the time try to tell me they are allergic to onions.
A person would probably starve to death if they were truly allergic to onions!

Allergies are a great catch all for avoiding things someone doesn't want to do.
BUT, there are enough people with legit allergies that you can't tell which ones are truly allergic from those who just want to be.
