I find the contrast between Simmons and Fournette really interesting.

What did Simmons do? Did I miss something?

yes, I realize that Fournette HAS to stay 3 years and Ben only has to stay 1 year.

Unless we're talking directly to Ben, all we can do is OBSERVE what we see to form opinions.

Do you really think Ben gave 100% effort, both physically and emotionally, all year?
Do you really think he cared about winning?
Do you really think he cared about this team?
Do you really think he cared about LSU?

In my opinion, the answer to each question is NO. And I sure didn't like the way he waited about one minute after our horrific loss to A&M to quit school and leave town.

Left town? I saw him on TV taking pictures with kids at one of this weekend's LSU baseball games. Yeah, he apparently doesn't care about kids either.

For him to accomplish what he did while not caring about anything, if he ever applies himself he will be the greatest basketball player to ever walk the face of the earth.
