Several folks on here were telling O'Keefe to just shut up already because he sounded silly to keep saying that he thought Miles would stay.
Kudos to O'Keefe.
Classy guy, btw.

It was a good business move. I suck at math, but there was a x percent chance that we'd have been contractually obligated to give Les a raise anyway (the scenario that's currently unfolding, should LSU make it to and win the NC game).
The risk was obviously losing in the SEC or national championship game...but it's looking like the move is working out nicely.

Miles said an erroneous ESPN report that he was going to Michigan prompted him to speak to his players and the media.
"I represent me in this issue, please ask me after. I'm busy," he said.
As he walked away, O'Keefe chuckled.
"What he said!" the chancellor said.
Well said, Mr. Chancellor.

While I do not think we have an Emmert anymore, O'Keefe and Lombardi seem to be good business people. All hail the Astronaut!

He was good for NASA...he was good as the Sec of the Navy...now he's good for LSU!
