JFK and Newark are both really easy to get into Penn Station. Get on the train at the airport and ride for 30-45 minutes - arrive at Penn Station.

I don't mind taking a cab from LaGuardia, but it's more expensive and depending on time of day - may not save you much time.

If you have a bunch of people/luggage take a cab from whichever airport is cheapest. If it's you and a carryon, fly Newark or JFK and take the train.

Thanks everyone. It'll just be my 15 yo dtr and myself. Last time we went for her 8th grade "class trip" we were able to pack for a week in one large suitcase and each had a carryon. So that part shouldn't be too awful.
