I spent most of my childhood growing up on various AFB's.
I don't recall of any on base murders. Only shootings were done by us kids with BB guns or wrist rockets.
An acorn from a wrist rocket can ruin your day.

You also probably didn't live on base when the longest American war ever was ongoing and military personnel having been deployed multiple times over.
Fort Bragg had several murders/suicides in the years I served (2001-2005)
