Median age? IE half are older, half are younger than 55? I'm gonna need to see some support for that.

ETA: Even if that were true, the comment that said they play day games because their audience is retired is laughably moronic. Outside of the Cubs, i'm not sure how "often" weekday day games are played outside of the open week, maybe a handful (10-12 over the season?). But there is this thing called tradition on top of the travel accommodations other have mentioned.

It was 54. I've referenced this article a few times in this general discussion, but granted, it is getting up there approaching 3 years old now, so the trend could be swinging back the other way, or at least starting to:
