ETA: Even if that were true, the comment that said they play day games because their audience is retired is laughably moronic. Outside of the Cubs, i'm not sure how "often" weekday day games are played outside of the open week, maybe a handful (10-12 over the season?). But there is this thing called tradition on top of the travel accommodations other have mentioned.
