Coming out of a 19 ft fiberglass, will it still fish comfortable? I know it will be different but just how different?

You will definitely notice the difference from a fiberglass Basscat and an aluminum boat regardless what's written on the side. Handling will be lacking and you will feel every wave. Sides are high and flat that catch the wind. A gentle breeze will push you around like a windsock,. Wind is the worst because it always seems to blow from an angle that pushes the back end around and you have stay on the trolling motor trying to keep the boat straight. My $.02

ETA: Forgot to mention it'll suck on windy days.

If you are use to fiberglass boats and you are looking to get fiberglass performance out of an aluminum boat then you will be disappointed. That being said I have a RT188 and love it. This is my first boat so I've never owned a glass rig. Most of my fishing will take place in the marsh and spillway so other than speed the advantages to glass really aren't that much for me.

I went from a nitro into the RT-188 and It was a easy transition. These boats fish really well trolling motor down every bit as good as my glass boat did. It dose catch a little bit more wind, but it's nothing thats a problem. The ride is nice not quite a smooth as a bass cat in ruff water, but not bad for aluminum. It's hands down one of the best aluminum rigs I've fish out of other than a bigger 21' xpress.

I will also say it's a heck of a lot easier to tow than a big glass rig and it's a lot easier at the pump than my glass rig also.
