There is little doubt that New England and the Mid-Atlantic region is most dominant. They absolutely stack the national rankings with some California programs sprinkled in there.
On top of the other states/regions you mentioned, Georgia also has a couple very good teams.

IMO, New England teams are pretty overrated. Deerfield and some of the teams in Connecticut are good, but there just aren't as many athletes up there.
Long Island, Upstate NY, Philly, Baltimore, DMV all are better hotbeds imo.
In regard to those other areas, it's all about the youth development catching up the athletes. If/when that happens, look out.
