Hey! Everything Philly here~
You are not the only one that commented on the up-charge for cheese. But no worries-- we are listening!
Because of that, we will no longer be charging to add cheese to any of our sandwiches.
We are committed to offering our guests high quality ingredients in an authentic Philly style, but we're always open to feedback from our diners! We hope that you'll consider coming back and giving us another shot. :)

PS: Tyrus Thomas is leading this project with owner Ameen Walker.

quote:Your economic sophistication is laudable. I'd much rather buy a cheesesteak sandwich for %5.99, than buy a steak sandwich for $5.49 with a $0.50 charge for cheese. I'm getting a much better deal your way.
They charge for cheese on a Philly cheesesteak, frick that

Or maybe they drew up their menu and pricing and decided to give a discount for people who didn't want cheese.
Iirc in Philadelphia the sandwich actually comes standard without cheese and when you order, you need to say "wit" indicating that you want cheese
