Sort of like Pimon Thai upcharging to add shrimp to Pad Thai.

Why would you have to pay extra for cheese on a Philly CHEESE steak?
I like Philly cheesesteaks and I would love to see the place succeed, but $16 for a sandwich, fries and drink is kind of rough. Especially in a college market
EDT: It looks like he is going with the model of Pat's and Geno's in Philly which evidently charge you a buck more for cheese. Unfortunately, BR is a long way from Philadelphia and people here are exactly connoisseurs of fine steak sandwiches like the folks in Philly.

Hey! Everything Philly here~
Y'all aren't the only ones that commented on the up-charge for cheese. But no worries-- we are listening!
Because of that, we will no longer be charging to add cheese to any of our sandwiches.
We are committed to offering our guests high quality ingredients in an authentic Philly style, but we're always open to feedback from our diners! We hope that y'all consider coming back and giving us another shot. :)
