First, this is the dumbest statement. So a cyclist breaking the law gives cars the right to run red lights??? Second, I agree that a cyclist certainly should not think anything other than themselves being completely in the wrong if they are in an accident where they did something improper.

There are roads better suited for riding. Major roads sometimes aren't terrible to ride on to be honest. None of the roads you listed are good to ride on certainly. You'd never catch me on one and I'll call a person riding one an idiot as quickly as you do.

Again, as someone living where there are plenty more cyclists than BR (I've got 4 major bike shops within 10 minutes of me), this is a biased statement. I could easily say that most drivers are criminals and we need to do something about it, since drivers commit "errors" just as regularly and flagrantly as cyclists.
