Bama is turning the heat up on him. He States "“I’m starting to lose focus on them,” Shelvin said. “It’s not the same as it was before. But it’s still good. I still have my options real open.”
Shelvin says that Alabama is the one team, besides LSU, that’s consistently recruiting him. So what does the Tide need to do to flip him?
“Same thing they’re doing now,” Shelvin said.

Unbelievable how could he say he is losing focus on us... I don't understand why the Louisiana kids have this obsession with Alabama we put out just as much if not more players into the NFL, great fans, great campus, and we compete for titles year in and out. Don't these kids want to play in front of there friends and family!

No. Look, I hate Bama, mostly because of their sore WINNER fans, but you have to give it to the program Saban has built. He runs it like a well oiled machine. High graduation rates, top round picks to the NFL every year, they spend the most on recruiting and that helps to yield #1 classes every year, and they don't just compete for championships, they win them at an insanely high clip. Have you SEEN their facilities, Oregon is possibly the only place that beats them out and I think it's more of a preference at this point between which is better between them and TAMU.
Tons of new high school graduates try to get away from their family every year (at least until the holidays). They are like regular folks in this regard. Being by family matters to some, others it doesn't.
Being that this is the recruiting board, I won't go further, but just think about what you say when we pull 5 star players from Florida and Texas.
