I know the lake will be stacked with ppl but just seeing if anyone has been on fish consistently. It seems as if this last front really stalled the fishing overall. Thoughts/opinions/approaches?

good luck to all who will be out there, I hope we can weigh our 5 Friday/Saturday for the LOBI

Paulo has been having some good fish caught in bushes and backside of islands. Think they're moving out in areas. I fished 6 mile last weekend and caught about 10 with biggest 4.5. It was tough fishing. Good luck

I agree, I think that the majority of the spawn is over, especially from Paulo/everything North of it

Mouth of Paulo is my fav place to fish the spawn, we call it Logjam, SpringHill buoy 16, flip bushes until you cant flip any more and HOLD ON! lol

appreciate the info, hopefully we can get on a few!

Was there 3/20-3/23. We caught 38 keepers between three of us, with the best being 6 pounds. Only fished a half day Sunday and Wednesday. It was tough, though, we never got on a good pattern at all. Probably caught more flipping bushes than anything, but not by much. We fished San Miguel, Slaughter, Lowe's, and Solan's.

Some of em I caught LINK

You're scaring that dog to death with every hookset.

Last time i took my dog in the boat, she jumped out in the water to chase a crane. (the crane was about 800 yards away).

that video was legit, my brother, dad, uncle, and couple friends of ours are out there today.. between 3 boats, have a 7+ , 6+ , and 5+ but each boat only having a handful of bites, just so happened they ran across a few good bites

when fishing the LOBI, it's pretty much flip bushes and grind out 5 if you can, preferably trying to fish bushes that may not be casted at AS many times(also getting the jig to the base of the bush)

i imagine we'll be in Blue Lake or Paulo if i had to guess

It was a Lake Fork Tackle popper, but yeah, I caught three keepers and a throwback on it that day. Hell I caught a 4 pounder on it back in February

Once the water hits 60 I usually have one tied on. Might not throw it much, but usually good for one or two a day.

Anywhere from 1 to 3 feet usually.

Spinnerbaits near shallow grass. Don't be afraid to try that.

We did catch a few nice fish on spinnerbaits. I took the 3-1/2 willow leaf off a war eagle spinnerbait and replaced it with a 5.

Spinner Baits work but I hate joining the LARGE % of people who are always throwing them... I'll flip behind spinner bait fisherman all day with confidence

My dad just got back from the lake on a "work trip". They caught over 30 yesterday fishing the points in 15-20 ft. of water. Mostly on Alabama and dropshot rigs. A few on some crankbaits as well.

Trying to give you advice on what we caught the majority of our big fish on.
I hate throwing them too but when my buddy put 5 nice fish in the boat in the matter of a few minutes I switched.
If you ask for what the catching on then don't talk shite when people tell you. I fished 15 days in March and have thrown basically every set up. Spinnerbaits early in the morning was by far the most successful.
