I'd argue Cal sticking with the experience over talent in the Final Four is what cost them an undefeated season. A Ulis/Booker backcourt likely wins that game for them.

I'd argue the down seasons have been more few and far between. At least for Cal so far. Duke and UK should be both top 5 teams next season.
