I've owned15 Elite bows since 2008, and still own 3 .... never chased speed as I like smoooothness and a solid back wall
If your bow is properly tuned and arrows in spec, then the published velocity numbers should be close, maybe 2-3 fps slower. When shooting a 60# bow, you need to deduct 2-3 fps from the 70# fps numbers . You can also pick up a few fps with a new cable slide and keeping the cable guard / rod clean
my suggestion, find a bow technician who knows how to properly tune an Elite and get the bow set up for your exact DL using a draw board
