Spoke with a VC coach after the game at LCA. Commended him on his boys competing their hearts out. They never quit playing despite being behind by a large margin. It was probably the closest district game at LCA. He was very nice, wish I had gotten his name. Seemed like a class guy.
I know nothing of the pizza. I think several of the coaches have very cordial relationships, though. Funniest thing I ever saw was the VC student body mocking LCAs girls BB coach a year ago. He is very animated and they nailed his mannerisms. I think our students were initially annoyed but quickly started to enjoy it, as did I. VC girls stomped us that game.

Coach McCoy; first year as basketball coach HERE and his son is the assistant. Both are teaching at VC. And yes, "The Cage" can be quite comical for home games. They love "mocking" the players/coaches but I think that most realize it's harmless fun and do actually seem to egg the students on.
