If you want to stay within walking distance of Soldier Field, check out Vice District Brewing. A local brewery that puts out some fantastic stuff. Its on Michigan Ave just south of Roosevelt (the street from which you can access walkways to the stadium).

I lived right there up until last year, in the past 12 months they have opened a ton of places on the Grant Park/Roosevelt/Michigan corridor. You'll have plenty of options (and plenty of company).
