Chances are highly likely this kid didn't actually steAL anything. The fact that they make him read a prepared statement claiming he was paid by the US government and some American church to steal the sign is all the proof you need. Why we don't just mow that entire shut hole down to the ground I don't know.

Prepared statements under duress are par for the course when dealing with a country trapped in 1955.

I dont think it was a coincidence they kept him four days before thier supposed hydrogen bomb test. Im sure they wanted a bargaining chip so they kept the American that was in the country.
