Osborne is interim coach, so where does this leave Bo P?

Why would he name himself interim coach if he can name Bo head coach Monday?
I think Osborne will be a CEO type coach and take Bo P as defensive coordinator under his wing. Then retire in a few years and leave Bo in charge.
So Bo is going to Nebraska as DC, bit like Jim-Bo went to FSU as OC. With similar effects hopefully.
Sorry if Germans
Just for reference

So he can go out and recruit. He is not going to coach games or go through spring practice

Why not wait till Monday and name Bo P the coach. Or why not name Bo P the coach now? What difference does it make.
Why would kids commit to Osborne, knowing he will not be around to coach games.
It will be like naming Skip Bertman interim head coach at LSU.

He can get an advantage by being on the recruiting trail this week.
This also tells me something b/c he is recruiting and not interviewing coaches. This could possibly mean he has one lined up and is waiting until after the SECCG.
Just seems to me if he didn't have someone lined up he would be interviewing and not recruiting.

they said on tv earlier that head coaches can only have one in home visit to recruits at this time by doing this osborne can visit them then the new coach is hired and he can visit them since it will be the new coaches first visit he found a loophole

And even after the Huskers name a new HC, Tom can still go out and recruit until all 9 assistants are hired.

Please take the next head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers now. I do not want him prowling the sidelines wearing purple and gold in the Georgia dome.
Peveto is good enough to hold TN to 50 points.

Osborne did that So he could go out and recruit and make sure no others jump ship until after the SEC Champ then he will name Bo the next HC of NU

Bo Pelini has emerged as the leading candidate at Nebraska and could be introduced as the new coach of the Cornhuskers early next week.
Interim athletic director Tom Osborne, who is conducting the search, told Nebraska media outlets Wednesday that he hoped to have a coach named next week. That timetable would fit Pelini's schedule, since the LSU defensive coordinator will be coaching in the SEC championship game Saturday afternoon in Atlanta.
One source said Osborne had settled on "a defensive guy" but had to wait until after Saturday to make it official.
