For 2017 Louisiana has 4 players who will probably be national recruits. Maybe 2 or 3 of those guys will be in the top 100 (though no 5 star type players). The downside is that there are no big men, which LSU desperately needs. The tallest guy is 6'6", though I guess he could always grow.

The 2018 class has Guard, Javonte Smart from Scottlandville. He's a national top 5 player who is probably the best LA prospect since Greg Monroe in 2008. LSU is going to have to beat out the big boys to get him. Baton Rouge also has Forward, Josh Leblanc at Madison Prep. He could be in the top 30 when it's all said and done.

Except for that that 7'0 C with perimeter skills that plays for Chalmette but is committed to Texas A&M.

Leblanc is in the Top 30 in a lot currently. Also, Greg Williams from Lafayette Christian and quite a few others.
