Where to go for a Mariner outboard part in Gonzales or Hammond area?

This stupid little plastic connector at the end of a throttle rod in my motor cracked the other day. I had to jerry rig it with a cable tie just to get home, but I'm looking for some new ones. Ascension marine and Simon's didn't have any in stock.

I've got a couple on order but might not be here before the weekend.
Never been in Thomas Marine. Always wondered about them Bc I never see anyone there.

I had a mariner in the 1990's it was basically a Mercury just tan instead of the black color.
A Mercury dealer should carry the parts.

Well it's kinda tricky Bc my particular mariner was actually subcontracted out by Yamaha. You can even see the jap writing and everything. So I dunno

I remember those pre Brunswick marine those were tanks.
Trying to remember the dealers that sold the original mariner engines.
Not an easy one to find parts, but great engines back then.
I bought mine from clays boats and motors new Iberia, LA.
I think clay peltier, had the boat doctor in New Iberia after he closed his dealership.
Kenny Hebert , who use to own Plaquemine marine sold them and last time I saw him he was running the xpress dealer on airline hwy in North Baton Rouge.

It's probably a Mercury part. Show up a Thomas marine with the part and engine serial number and they should have it.

Give Jerry's Boat Shop on Weber Road a call. He may very well have an old motor in stock. 644-3797

ascension marine is on airline in prarieville. I think they are a johnson/evinrude dealer but its worth a shot. Bass pro has a parts department, not sure about cabelas.

Is no more, they were purchased by Premier Performance Marine. I know they lost most, if not all of their mechanics when that happened last year. I'm not sure where they stand on parts...

I was not aware of that. I used to go in there all the time before I accepted that my old Fast Strike 150 wasn't going to live forever.

Shexter, great advice my man.
Went to Ole Jerry and sure enough he had a box full of what I was looking for.
