And in the innings I've heard he hasn't. I'm not sure what your definition of "few" is but I'm making the assumption that I've listened much more than you have so far this season. I'm fairly confident his number of mistakes is less than Hawthorne would have had over the same number of games I've listened to.

I listened to maybe 3 innings and in those few innings he missed a few pitches, called a grounder and the runner was thrown out (where the hell did he hit it?...maybe he is broadcasting for people at the game?), called a hit and run on an 0-2 count with 2 outs (sorry that is just not knowing the game), and was confused in a batters interference play.

I guess every other inning he made no mistakes...that would be amazing

well he does take his time to make the call for accuracy...so he really shouldn't make any
