Need him to have a conference and state for the record that No, he will not be the next LSU football coach. Then, you can book it, where he will be roaming the sidelines in 2008.

I don't think Alabama would give LSU permission to talk to him if they were to ask. Also, what if he acted like he wanted to come back and then backed out on LSU? That would be the ultimate egg on the face to LSU. If I were in charge that would be my biggest fear.
