Why don't the people who are so upset address their real problem. Black actresses, actors, directors, etc. aren't getting enough opportunities in "good" roles or movies.

I'm a nobody from Shreveport and
I can see that. So they can to. I guess it's easier just to bitch about it on Twitter or call out a faceless organization for not lowering their standards.

If anyone listened carefully to Rock and others, the issue was that there should be more opportunities for roles. It's not about quotas for the Oscars. Jeezus.

This is literally what Spike Lee originally proposed in his initial complaint: a Rooney Rule for hiring executives to have more diverse voices at the decision maker level. In fact, almost every person affiliated with #OscarsSoWhite has suggested this exact thing: that the all-white slate at the Oscars is a symptom, not a cause, and we need more diversity in the making of films.
