Should we follow some of ole miss patterns by recruiting juco more?

I know ole miss is under investigation for recruiting violations but if you notice that they recruit juco a lot more than we do an that allows a player to come in more experienced and at worst add good depth...I know LSU recruit great players out of highschool but nothing trumps experience

Kind of answered your own question here.

Not sure what the advantage would be. JUCO should be a last resort, it's much much better to develop your own signees for 3-4 year cycles. An over reliance on stopgap solutions leaves you without much continuity year to year, ie what you saw at Ole Miss or Arkansas under Houston Nutt.

I think of all the things to change at LSU football, recruiting is probably last. I understand the sentiment, but LSU will go after JUCO players that they feel will benefit the program in the long term. No need to force the issue, really.

JUCO makes more sense than giving scholarships to players who will seldom see the field at all. Preferred walk-ons who end up with scholarships, for example.
