The Jordan season wasn't like this. He couldn't kill you from anywhere. And say what you want but it was easier to have big statlines then for stars with the 1 on 1 defense that took place

Lebron has never wowed me like Curry has. I am sorry folks, CURRY>LEBRON
THIS IS NOT A DEBATE. It is a fact

Nobody is debating it

Jordan averaged nearly 40 a game for an entire season once, AND made all NBA first team defense.
Not to mention his numbers in playoffs...

Curry is great, but come on guys.
In an end of game situation, Jordan would have to get the ball most likely inside the 3-point line, and would have to have space to get an open look.
With Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, or whoever, if you could play them really tight, they would most likely miss that shot. They were great players but not otherworldly shooters.
With Curry, however, it doesn't matter how well you guard him or how far from the basket he is. If he gets a shot off even with you playing him tight, I feel like it's a god-send if he actually misses it. He's that good.
It's like your at his mercy.

Are you arguing Curry is a better overall player than prime Kobe Bryant?
The top three best, most complete wing players in league history are Jordan, Kobe and Lebron. That's backed up by every advanced metric in existence.
Curry can be the greatest offensive player in history, but he simply isn't a good enough defender and rebounder to be the best overall ever.

He didn't need to, he scored at will in the paint. He got whatever shot he wanted anytime he wanted. Why shot from 30 feet when you average 24 a game and shoot 70% in the paint or FTs as a 2 guard?

Ummmm did you notice who you were replying to? I can tell you with 100% certainly that is NOT what he is arguing. He is one of the few on here that realizes that if anything Kobe is WAY underrated.
