I await further details.
People do not usually clap en masse in situations like this unless someone was being a real dick.
So we'll see if another side of the story comes out.
Of course, with what was going on with that family I wouldn't blame them for being a bit dickish and stressed out.

I already know any clapping and derision directed their way was justified because the aggrieved party's name is "Fabian"
