Because I'm a self aggrandizing chooch monkey that wants to point to this thread to show I was correct a few weeks from now. About 90 percent of our fans don't see the big picture of what drives the NCAA tournament. Ratings.
I'm not one to make bold predictions and really don't see this as one, but I really think we'll be invited.
Is that honest enough?

I hope you're right but I doubt you are. In order for the committee to make that decision they will also have to discuss the team that actually does deserve to make it and gets left out for "entertainment" purposes... highly unlikely they do that in my opinion.
I'm also not sure I'd consider LSU basketball watchable right now.

Ben Simmons can only draw so much. LSU was lampooned by the media after the last two games.
Jones has lost the team and the one guy who could give us all out effort is gone for the season.
LSU is done. It's over.
