Dearest Team Landry
It's been a while ..... We have been on a roller coaster with this monster called ALS. Over the past year, Steve has had a series of infections since the trach surgery, but he battled each one and kept up the good fight. Last week, Steve was admitted into ICU with pneumonia and fluid in and around the lungs. As many of you know, fluid in and around the lungs is very hard to treat with a patient on a ventilator. Our hero has endured so much during this time...his body is deteriorating but his mind is sharp as ever. ALS sucks! As his ALS journey comes to an end, the support, prayers, and positive vibes have been felt through and through. The events we have had, dinners, walks, and gatherings have been so important to Steve and his family. We are all in this together, battling this horrific disease but know we are winning. Steve is a warrior and hero and his strength continues to inspire and amaze! Please keep Steve in your thoughts and prayers. He is our hero and he is winning his fight.

Sucks to hear. Will put this man and his family in my prayers tonight. I hope he enjoyed time with his friends and family up until the end.
Sad.
Sad.

Thank God this fight is over for him and his family. Don't ever take your good health for granted.
