I think I posted my reasons why he is a good coach for LSU, none of which you responded to. Instead of addressing his record here at LSU you spent all your time on his previous job which doesn't mean a thing. His record here is as good as any other basketball coach we have ever had in his first four years. Oh and how do you identify a top 25 coach? And if you identify them how do you get one of them to come to LSU which is always going to be first and foremost a football school.

Consider all the "name" coaches at other schools in the SEC. Consider that CJJ is ahead of all of them but Calipari over the last two years in terms of SEC wins.

You have to admit thought that missing the tourney with this squad would be a MASSIVE underachievement. In that case, he might get next year (don't know why) but I would have to think his seat is scorching at that point.

Hey look after year 1 I was encouraged. He took a bunch of stiffs and went 9-9... Never mind it was a 2 game improvement from the last year of Trent. I mentioned his past because that's his track record and that's all we have to go on.
The way you get one of those coaches is you make them an offer they can't refuse. You put $3 mil on Archie Miller and show him your serious about basketball. With the sec network the money is there and this could be a sleeping giant. We are in tv every time we play. Dayton is ranked and you can't find them in tv. We've had 3 of the top 50 players of all time, and we've averaged 11,000 in the building this year.

I'm sorry if you can't see your boy Jonny doesn't have it. This team has been a disappointment, but they haven't been taught no trained to do anything. With all the talent, and ability we are last in the league in defense. We cannot stop dribble penetration, we don't block out, we are horrible at ft's, we run no offense with ball movement, screening away from the ball, we cannot execute post entry passes. There is nothing that this team does fundamentally well. And that's coaching.
Ps. What's he saving all the timeouts for? He does know there is no bonus for the unused timeouts at the end of the year.
