Art Briles interviewing for Baylor job

I think that would be a shite move for him, he can get a better job if he keeps winning at UH.

I couldn't agree more. Guy Morriss and Kevin Steele are damn good coaches, and neither of them could get any sort of momentum going. That job is a coaches' graveyard.

I really thought Briles would get the A&M job. I think R-Kansas should take a look, but I don't know if he wants to deal with such bat-shite craziness.

Baylor needs to get a coach that has some enigma about him to give Baylor an identity.

* either a coach like Mike singletary who has NFL name and it is a plus that he's african american. Thus, I think he would be more attractive to SOME recruits.


* a coach that has a weird offense or something that can put them on the map, i.e. Hawaii, Navy, TT.



They are not going to get recruits. Getting a regular old coach just like Moriss or Steele (Briles) will do nothing for them.

Apparently, you have never seen U of H under Briles. To say his offense is unique, i.e. innovative, is a drastic understatement.
