I'm gonna force myself to go to more games. Enjoy the cheap tickets.
Hope AD23 plays well, but somehow doesn't make All-NBA. Then pray that the reports of a maybe $92mm cap are true, instead of $89mm just in case he ends up 3rd team. We need his number closer to $21mm, than $25mm.
If we are picking 6th, with All-NBA AD23 costing $24,970,000, we keep Reke, and BDJ's guarantee is at cap hold level... we need the cap to be $92,291,971 to offer Harrison or Batum $20,000,000 even. (not be enough - Batum could sign for $25.3 Million, Barnes $21.0 Million)
All-NBA AD23, probably means Reke will have to go.
Which would then change my opinion on drafting Buddy Hield instead of Poeltl, because we'd need the SG upside, after we maxed Barnes/Batum and signed my boy Courtney Lee?

I'm going to watch this team. See where we finish. I'll find joy when good happens. Rationalize the bad when it crops up.

I'm gonna see how many NFL and NBA mock drafts I can read, then read about all the free agents the Saints won't get, then draft 4 Fantasy Baseball teams (which I'll only pay attention to one); I'll watch LSU lose in the first round of the NIT to Monmouth University and finally, I'll become a master mock drafter by April on Fantasy Football Calculator.
