Georges... Don't care for the food
I won't go back because when I went about a year or so ago now, I asked if the guy knew if the veggie burger was vegan. He said "I don't know what means". I told him, no problem...do you have the box, would you mind checking?
To which he said "that's stupid, I'm not going to do that"
My party of 4 walked out after he said that, and I haven't been back.

Wow.
George's and Pastime are two I'll never return to because of the way they treat people over the stupid writing your own order bullshite. The guy at George's practically threw the pad of paper at me when I tried to order. I had no idea this was a "thing" they did (by the way, really fricking stupid trademark to have) and there wasn't a single person in the place. There was no reason he couldn't take my order the normal way.
What's funny is I remember a time our POS went down when I was working at Dempseys and we had to turn orders into the kitchen by hand. They flipped their shite at us servers for the way we wrote orders because they couldn't figure out most of them (abbreviations, handwriting, etc.). I can't imagine ever deciding that it is a good business decision to make customers write down their own orders.
