I find it funny as hell that the same people who decry entitlement programs are up in arms about the loss of TOPS.

Then you're completely missing the point. the WELFARE people sit on their arse all day and do nothing to better their lives = hurt the state
COLLEGE STUFENTS receiving tops to better their lives results in better jobs and more taxes for the state = help the state. Wasn't so hard now was it?

Again, you didn't read my post, you just blindly defend. Classic liberal propaganda.

I clearly stated programs that help young people get an education and become assets to our society is far from being an entitlement program.

If you think TOPS and Welfare are the same you sir are a tool. TOPS gives kids a chance at higher education, which improves Louisiana in a number of ways. Whats Welfare do, besides enable more laziness???
