With as much advantage today's NFL gives the offense...

PI...should be like college.

Flipping the field on b.s. calls has somewhat ruined the joy of the game.

But while Swann wasn't nearly the receiver of his teammate. He did play in an era where defense reigned and the DBs could beat you up. Swann's stats have no bearing on Calvin Johnson's HOF worthiness...everyone should be judged only by their peers and by their era.

but see... when the Mel Blount rule was administered I'm sure observers thought it was crap too.

why don't we go back and cherry pick against Dan Marino, Joe Montana, and John Elway for their efforts along the way too while we're at it?

no one is saying that today's game is perfect but I'm tired of old farts like Swann.

I mean he knows he isn't/wasn't as good as Megatron. Otherwise he wouldn't say dumb crap like that. He probably misses the times when he was a big deal.

and that.. I can sort of understand.
