There's some IPTV services that have me interested. You pretty much have to have an VPN for safety and reducing potential throttling. But I tried a month, and it was pretty legit for $5/month. Not sure if I should list the particular service. But it had about 1600+ channels, with a ton in HD. Though I've heard during big events, some can get clogged with too much traffic. A lot of people have 2 of them as a backup. Getting 2 with a VPN is under $20. I've heard to stay away from ones with 5-6,000 channels, because most won't work worth a damn.
Mobro just has terrible quality and buffering issues on any decent channel.
Ttv is dying, and quicker than Morpheus because of the developer. But a few of the mods still works great if you have a subscription scraper. I think they've changed the API key so the developer doesn't have access. There's worth it, imo. A few features have died, but nothing major.
People are working on new apps to replace ttv. There's some talk of them becoming open source, so one person won't be able to shut it down like with ttv. I think some are trying to mod ttv, to keep it alive. I'm sure parts of the code will be integrated. But you've gotta have sources to find things.
But right now, teatv night be the best option. I can't get the new South Park on ttv. Apparently there's been an update. So it might be better than it was before
