God as my witness, I did not know Alexandria had that that many people in it. Every time I drive through on my way to somewhere, it always looks empty.
The place has a highway / interstate infrastructure that says "hundreds of thousands of people" but traffic that says "Cars are illegal"

Meh, the interstate was run through downtown which was dead before and probably always will be. Try MacArthur drive around noon or anytime close to 5.
