So the 4th most single season passing yards in lsu history and a tie for 7th most passing tds in lsh history isnt enough for us to win a title?

2013 was one of the greatest offensive outings for the tigers and it was just good enough to finish in the top 25 for total offense for that season.

I see what you are trying to say, but LSU has never been an offensive powerhouse consistently. So it makes no sense to compare a single LSU player's season with previous yearly LSU stats offensively.

Offenses are much more high powered these days. If we aren't breaking some type of LSU offensive record every year, then we aren't keeping up with the rest of the FBS. Those proposed stats that would have put that QB at #7 for td's and #4 for yds (on LSU's all time) would have been just good enough for a #40 ranking this past season and not even in the top half of the FBS in passing td's.

How many times will i have to explain this for the board?
The only reason our totals were low in 2013 was because of our scheme. We dont run a HUNH like some teams. In 2013 we were 11th in the country in yards per play BUT we were 105th in plays ran so it skewed our totals.
Using totals as a measurement for a team's success is just dumb because totals are skewed by TOP (defense)and plays ran (offense).

Yards per play and points per play are considered PURE stats because they arent skewed by other stats.

2013 LSU offense was elite.

11th in the country in yards per play
9th in the countrh in points per play

We uses the entire play clock trying to shorten the game and dont run a hurry up no huddle

I think you confuse National rank with powerhouse and many of the teams that litter the top 20 offense rank are not on level with LSU, nor face the defenses LSU does.
Case in point how in the world can an "awful" #39 LSU offense outscore #2 TTU and #9 WKU by nearly 30pts each?
I'll add LSU style of keepaway offense isn't conducive to top 20 ypg numbers.
