as long as we have the all-star stable of running backs that we currently have, I don't think we will see much more than a minimal passing game.
This will result in loses to the best teams in the country, and some of the lesser ones. How many years of a "minimal passing game" does it take to learn that this will not get a team to the playoffs?
Actually, a team can do both, have a kick arse running game and a dynamic passing game. It takes both just to get to the college football playoffs.

what's more important that the stat line is situational stats. long pass interceptions on 3rd and long or at the end of the first half don't matter like regular down and distance interceptions. Interceptions against directional schools don't matter like they do in tight games against top SEC West teams.
That stat line is fine if the good parts come against the best 5 teams on the schedule and the bad parts come against the worst 5 teams on the schedule.

No. I don't think that stat line would win us a championship.
2407 yards, 21 td's and 11 int's 56% completion rate won us a title in '07...of course we lost two regular season games that year.

What?
So the 4th most single season passing yards in lsu history and a tie for 7th most passing tds in lsh history isnt enough for us to win a title?
I swear some posters on here have no clue about lsu football history
