Yeah, and look how many are part of our 4th quarter lineup.

I like ryno, but he's just too much of a liability if he's not making shots. It also forces AD to play a position he isn't suited for

That just drives me nuts. Davis was a monster v GS playing almost exclusively at the 5. He is especially suited to the 5 in the modern era. That doesn't mean you don't have a "5" on the roster, but Davis is a 5 in the playoffs, the way Tim Duncan has been since Robinson retired. A guy like Asik can't stay on the court in May/June because he can't keep up with guards coming off PnR and he can't hurt a team on offense.

It's wild how some Pels fans are looking forward to losing Anderson and okay with Asik sticking around because "he's been better lately" and "cap spike tho." To be clear, both guys are not serious long term core pieces. But I'd much rather have Anderson at $16-$18M than Asik at $9-$10 in a $90M+ cap.

Even if they move Anderson, they won't become a good defense overnight. Problems are much deeper than that. True that 1 guy can wreck a defense, but for the Pels the past few years it's always been more than 1 guy- that includes Davis and Holiday, who have their own issues defensively. Yes, Anderson has physical limitations that will hurt him on defense, but he can hurt teams on the other end, even if he's missing shots. Gravity is real. And 1 guy can screw up an offense- Tony Allen, Splitter, Sefalosha (OKC version) are all a testament to that.

Bottom line is that almost the entire roster, as presently constructed, is a liability. The sooner they can start breaking it down and building one that actually makes sense, the better.
