yep...my whole life, people have told me that renting is just throwing away money and that buying a house was the only way to go...
well, I finally broke down and bought a house...that was in late 2007...need I say more?....

My uncle who rented for 20 something years decided to finally buy a 1st floor condo in NOLA. In June 2005.

Buying a house is MUCH more of a financial burden than renting
It's not always economically smart, but it does come with some benefits.
