More good replies, thanks again. I've seen several of you mention having sperm frozen before the procedure, in case I change my mind (which I'm confident I won't but an option to consider). I am not against doing that, but what are the costs associated with it? I've heard that can be very expensive.

Liuyaming do you think some doctors would elect not to do the procedure on me simply due to my age? What do you think I should do to overcome any kind of possible objection by the doctor based on age?

Depends on length you have them frozen, several grand.

But that's the cheap part. Say you want to use them, that's the expensive part.
